Annika Wagner
Annika Wagner leads Halston's sustainability practice, integrating low-carbon design, building performance modelling, and embodied carbon strategy across every project the studio undertakes. She joined Halston in 2018 after roles at a leading sustainability consultancy in Berlin and a research position at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Annika studied environmental engineering and architecture at the TU Berlin and pursued postgraduate research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. She is responsible for the studio's DGNB and Passivhaus certifications, and leads the technical research that informs the studio's material specification standards. Her work on the Hexagon Office, Berlin set a new benchmark for embodied carbon in mid-rise commercial construction in Germany.
